Background:
It turns out that it is possible to use supermarket self-checkout machines to buy nothing. The artist did so frequently during a two year period. Hundreds of the resulting receipts, recording the non-transactions, were collected. These were compiled into two books ('Less' and 'More Less' see ); a short film was produced ('Exchanging'); and an A0 print can be purchased below.
